NUSA DUA is located on Bali’s southern shores overlooking the Indian Ocean. It is an exclusive area of several five star resorts, with white sandy beaches, pristine water and coconut groves. Neo-Balinese architecture combined with beautiful landscape design, makes this well planned area a real tropical paradise.

PASSPORT and VISA
Visiting Indonesia Without Any Visa
Entering Indonesia without any visa is possible now only for nationals of the following 11 countries and territories: Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Citizens of the above countries will be issued on arrival a stay permit for 30 days free of charge upon presentation of a passport, which is valid at least for another 6 months. This stay permit cannot be extended or converted into another type of visa.

VISA on ARRIVAL (VoA)
This facility is now available for nationals of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, People’s Republic of China, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
VoA can be attained at the VoA counter located inside the terminal before baggage collection area. Passport validation should be at least for another 6 months.

CURRENCY
The Monetary unit in Indonesia is the Rupiah (RP). Foreign currency and traveler’s cheque can be converted into rupiah at authorized money changers or banks. The exchange rate is subjected to marked fluctuation.

CLIMATE:
Bali is 8 degree south of the equator. Temperature very between 21 and 32°C (70 - 90°F);
average temperature 26°C (78°F). It has also two session: Dry from May to November, with July being the coolest month; rainy from November to April, with January the wettest month.
Humidity average 75 % year round.

TIME ZONE
There are three time zones in Indonesia. Bali is on central Indonesian Standard Time, +8 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time. Bali is on the same time zone as Singapore and Hong Kong.

TIPPING
Most larger hotels and restaurants automatically add government tax and service charge of up to 21 percent to the bill. Tipping is unusual and you’re not compelled to tip at restaurants. If you like your driver, a trip of 10 – 15 percent is appreciated. Carry small change with you as taxi drivers often have none. Round up the fare to the nearest Rp. 5,000,- If traveling in a group, a tip to drivers and guides is appreciated. Airport or hotels porters expect Rp. 10,000 per bag depending on the size and weight.

WEIGHTS AND MEASURES
Indonesia uses the metric system. One kilometer is 0.6 miles; one meter is 3.3 feet; one kilogram is 2.2 pounds; one liter is 0.3 US gallons or 0.2 imperial gallons. To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32 and multiply by 0.56.

The organizing committee will send a letter of invitation upon request. This invitation is intended to facilitate participants’ travel and visa arrangement and do not imply any commitment of financial or other support by the organizing committee.
Please include your name, address, passport number and a note requesting a letter of invitation.

The Organizing Committee shall not be held liable for personal accidents, illness, losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the congress, during and after the event.
Participant is financially responsible for any damage sustained to venue fittings, property or equipment. Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage and trip cancellation.
